ProSMS.gr - Changes in the Sender field

ProSMS.gr would like to remind you that from 01/12/2010 the use of numeric-only values in the "Sender *" field will NOT be allowed (e.g. mobile, regularly, short code, + it is considered as number). However, you will be able to combine numbers with letters. This restriction is being put into place in order to protect the users from possible malicious use as the law defines.

Particularly, from 01/12/2010 the "Sender" field can contain values of up to 11 characters, that should be a combination of Latin letters (at least 1), numbers and certain special symbols (!:;+-.).

Some examples of allowed values for the "Sender" field are:

My-Company
Sector.1
SENDER

Some examples of not allowed values for the "Sender" field are:

+306990000000: it does not contain any letter
6990000000: it is numeric
My-Company-Name: has more than 11 characters
